The empty Sainsbury's unit in the Brunel Shopping Centre has been cleared of all stock and equipment.
Everything has been removed from the inside of the store - bar a few shopping trollies.
It closed earlier this month after half a century in the town centre.
The supermarket giant revealed back in August it would be closing the store and has said it is part of a nationwide campaign rather than due to any local issues.
The closure of Sainsbury's came almost exactly a year after Morrisons closed its Regent Circus unit on November 3 2019.
