DEVIZES SURGICAL CENTRE
In an uncertain world, a local, friendly and exceptional healthcare service is every patient’s dream. For Wiltshire residents, that is exactly what they have in Practice Plus Group Surgical Centre, Devizes.
General Manager Lisa Self explained: “We offer high quality care in a warm and reassuring environment that our patients tell us they really value – in fact 99 per cent say they would recommend us to friends and family needing treatment”.
The Devizes Surgical Centre is rated as 'good' by the Care Quality Commission and it is consistently scored highly for cleanliness in regular independent inspections.
The centre offers a wide range of treatments including:
- minor orthopaedic surgery
- cataract removal
- ear, nose and throat surgery
- men and women’s healthcare
- dental surgery
- diagnostic imaging
Joint replacements happen at our Emersons Green hospital, but Devizes patients can have pre- and post-surgery appointments in the Devizes centre, reducing the need to travel.
Patient choice is at the heart of our healthcare, whether you are an NHS, self-pay or insured patient.
We can arrange appointments to suit self-funding patients through a dedicated contact team – at a cost that is up to 30 per cent less than private hospitals. Through the self-pay route, patients can also be seen for treatments that may no longer be available to NHS patients.
Lisa said: “We pride ourselves on our patient-focused approach, upholding the values of privacy and dignity for everyone. We know that anxious patients and those with limited mobility can benefit from our smaller scale service that offers the same exceptional care they would expect in larger regional hospitals”.
“Our centre is easily accessible, and it has free and plentiful parking which we know is much appreciated by all our patients and visitors”.
