TWO drivers were said to have hit almost 100mph racing each other through Swindon.
Police said the vehicles were recorded at 96mph in a 50mph zone on Great Western Way last Thursday.
The vehicles had failed to stop for officers, Wiltshire Police’s specialist operations department tweeted.
The drivers had been sent notices of intended prosecution.
“The cars were fast, we were furious,” officers said.
