A CRASH blocked two lanes of the M4 near Swindon earlier today.
Highways England alerted drivers to the accident westbound at Junction 15 on the way to Junction 16 at 12pm.
Police officers and ambulance crews raced at the scene. Motorists were advised to take care when approaching the stretch of the road where the accident happened.
The lanes reopened around 1pm. A Highways England spokesman said: "All lanes are now back open, however there are still emergency services and traffic officers on the hard shoulder, please pass with care."
