THIS is a round-up of the week's public notices for the Swindon area.
TOWN CENTRE: AN APPLICATION has been made to Swindon's licensing authority for the grant of a premises licence by Gabriel Ciobanu in respect of Magazin Alimentar, 29 John Street, Swindon, SN1 1RT.
The application seeks the following licensable activities and times: sale of alcohol for consumption off the premises from Monday to Sunday, 9am to 10pm.
The full application may be inspected at the Offices of the Licensing Authority, Swindon Borough Council, Wat Tyler West Floor 5, Beckhampton Street, Swindon, SN1 2JH between the hours of 9am and 4.30pm on weekdays.
Responsible authorities, and/or other persons (e.g. people/businesses living or working within the vicinity), can make representations at any time until March 5 2021

It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with an application. A person is liable on summary conviction to a maximum fine of £5,000.
BISHOPSTONE: SWINDON Borough Council intends to introduce a temporary order for health and safety reasons which will stop pedestrians from travelling along a footpath in the village (cited in the order as Footpath 16, reference STR0000159 PROW).
No alternative route is available. The order will come into effect from February 25 and last for six months.

HANNINGTON: FOR health and safety reasons, the council is stopping people from using a footpath in Hannington (cited in the temporary order as Footpath G, reference STR0DD0160 PROW).
Pedestrians will be diverted from the northern end of the closure proceed along Public Bridleway 16 in a generally south-westerly direction to Public Bridleway 13.
Then they can turn right, south, along Public Bridleway 13 to Public Bridleway 7 before turning right, south-westerly and then westerly along Public Bridleway 7 to the southern end of the closure.
The order will come into effect from February 25 and last for six months.

HANNINGTON: PLANS have been submitted for an alteration to Glebe House in Hannington that would provide a new opening between the second floor bedrooms (reference S/LBC/20/1560PEK0).
WROUGHTON: Land At Langton Park could have 18 new homes built on it along with associated access, parking and landscaping (application reference S/20/1717TB).
HIGHWORTH: A PLANNING application (reference S/21/D133CHH0) has been submitted to build a garage and store on land adjacent to Highworth Library on Gilberts Lane.
CHISELDON: A HOMEOWNER hopes to erect a single-storey rear extension with two velux windows to the front and rear of Saracens on Turnball.
The application (reference S/H0U/21/0190PEK0) includes plans to reposition the garden wall and render the garage walls.
