ONE new death of a patient with Covid-19 has been recorded at Great Western Hospital.
A further 185 people who tested positive for coronavirus have died in hospital in England, bringing the total number of confirmed deaths reported in hospitals around the country to 84,276, NHS England said on Saturday.
Patients were aged between 42 and 96. All except six, aged between 54 and 84, had known underlying health conditions.
One of them was of a patient at GWH who died on Thursday after testing positive for coronavirus, bringing the hospital's total number of deaths of patients with the disease to 308.
There were 40 other deaths reported at hospitals around the UK which had no positive Covid-19 test result.
