Nitrous oxide canisters and drug paraphernalia were among the items found by officers at a play park last night.
The Stratton neighbourhood policing team received multiple reports of youths engaging in anti-social behaviour and drug-related activities within the Winton Road play park.
A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: “Do you know where your children are and what they get up to?
“Nitrous oxide canisters, drug paraphernalia along with a multi-drug test kit were located alongside these items – receipts and a school conduct card were also left behind.”
It is dangerous to inhale nitrous oxide directly from the canister. The risks include falling unconscious and/or suffocating from the lack of oxygen.
