The line-up for this year’s MFor festival has been finalised, with artists coming from all across the UK to perform at Lydiard Park this summer.

Chart-topper Craig David was unveiled as the headline act last year before organisers announced the postponement of the festival because of the coronavirus pandemic.

It was revealed at the weekend that he will be joined by Brit-nominated DJ and producer Sigala, singers Raye, Ella Henderson and Gracey, electronic dance music duo Phats and Small and more on Saturday, July 31.

Co-founders Graham Stobbs and Debra Collins launched the first MFor Festival in 2019, with performances from Years and Years, Ella Eyre, HRVY, Becky Hill and Jahmene Douglas wowing the crowds.

Graham said: “The final line-up has been well received – people seem really excited, and we are too – it’s amazing to be bringing top artists like this to our hometown.

“We have sold over 50 per cent of tickets and we have seen a spike in sales since we announced the final line up.

“Over 5,000 people attended in 2019 and had a great day and many of them are booking to come back a second time.

“We would recommend people get their tickets as soon as they can to avoid disappointment.”

In a short video posted on social media this week, Gracey said: “I’m so excited to be joining the bill at this year’s MFor Festival. See you there.”

The one-day festival will include entertainment for all ages, including an obstacle course, climbing walls, shooting ranges, axe throwing, archery and many more.

This year, there will be Friday Night Sessions for those aged over 18 on July 30.

Graham added: “Tickets are also selling well for our Friday night party night.  The 18-plus event will see 90s favourites Liberty X, Five and more really getting the party started. We really hope the people of Swindon will enjoy this addition to the event.”

PM Boris Johnson’s roadmap out of lockdown includes plans to allow large events to take place and most social restrictions to be removed no earlier than June 21.

Tickets cost £44.99 for anyone aged over 14, and £14.99 for children aged between five and 13. It is free of charge for those aged under five. VIP tickets for all ages cost £80.
