A London man with a personal training business is setting up a new studio in Swindon to open on April 12.

Peter Singh, owner of PST Energy4Life, started his business in Kingston upon Thames, but visited his mum in Swindon and 'fell in love' with the town.

He says, "I went to stay with my mum who lives in Swindon, and I fell in love with the people and the atmosphere, and I saw a niche in the market for personal training.

"I wanted to give something back to the community, to help the community get fit and get stronger."

He is setting up a studio in a unit in Kembrey Park: "I'm getting everything ready for opening on April 12. Due to Covid rules, I am allowed five people with social distancing. I'm really excited about it.

"I plan on teaching a Boxercise class every Wednesday for women only, and one for kids, as well as running one-to-one personal training from the unit as well."

Peter is a passionate personal trainer and first became interested in the gym when his uncle took him to a health and fitness club in the centre of London: "I've been doing this for eight years and I got into it when my uncle brought me into work when he was a head chef at the Harbour Club in Notting Hill.

"He took me into the gym and I loved it. I didn't want to leave.

"From there I did my Level 2 and 3 qualifications as a personal trainer when I was younger. I then went on and qualified to teach many other things, like TRX, circuits, kettlebells.

"I was also en-route to doing my Level 4 and specialising in back pain, but because of Covid that has been delayed."

But the pandemic has produced opportunities for personal training: "Since Covid I have moved to online personal training. I have my own app (PST ENERGY4LIFE!) and through that I train people all over the world."

He is to offer an eight week transformation challenge from April 12, involving workouts, diet plans, lifestyle coaching and goal setting.
