THE piece of graffiti once believed to be created by Banksy is still being guarded more than four weeks after it first appeared.

As of midday on Good Friday, a grey car with no-one inside it blocks the controversial artwork on Bath Road from view.

Shortly after the much-discussed image was created on March 9, a private security van blocked passerby from viewing it.

When the vehicle left the area, a vandal sprayed AVOID over the wall.

Since then, more private security has been seen at the site of the former bus shelter as the chances of it being a genuine Banksy becomes less and less likely.

In late March, a blue car with a 'DOG UNIT' on the driver's door was later seen parked in front of the controversial artwork with the engine running while a man in a high-visibility jacket sat inside.

It is unclear whether the latest vehicle to park in front of the vandalised vandalism is also private security.

Banksy has been quiet on the subject of whether the spray-painted street art is actually his and hope of it being the real deal has long since faded.
