Police tape off Kingshill service station as residents report hearing police helicopter last night
POLICE have taped off a Swindon service station.
A cordon remains in place at Kingshill service station at the corner of Kingshill Road, Westcott Place and Wootton Bassett Road.
Homeowners last night reported hearing a police helicopter overhead.
It is not known how long the service station will remain shut.
Wiltshire Police has now confirmed that detectives are investigating an armed robbery at the garage.
