A HACKNEY man has admitted robbing a man of his mobile in Swindon.
Appearing before Swindon Crown Court via the court service’s video conferencing programme, Kairo Theophilus-Reid, 20, of Southwold Road, Hackney, pleaded guilty to a single count of robbery.
He stole his victim’s mobile phone and wallet during the robbery on September 14, 2019, in Swindon.
Theophilus-Reid was bailed and will be sentenced at the crown court on May 6. Ordering a pre-sentence report, Judge Jason Taylor QC warned him: “I am obviously not giving you any promises as to the likely sentence. All options are open.”
David Sapiecha appeared for the Crown Prosecution Service. Theophilus-Reid was represented by Clare Dowse.
