A Marlborough lawyer has run every day for the past six months to raise money for brain injury survivors.
Kim Chamberlain, a director at law firm Novum, has almost finished her virtual Length of Britain challenge to run 1,084 miles around Wiltshire.
She has raised an impressive £2,690, but hopes to reach £3,000.
Kim started running in October for the Silverlining Brain Injury Charity, which hosts activities, projects and events for brain injury survivors and their families.
She has run every day in all weathers - 40 mile an hour headwinds, hailstones, torrential rain and freezing temperatures - to clock up the miles.
She says, “I can’t quite believe that I am heading toward the finish line. It has been one of the most rewarding challenges I’ve completed and it’s an absolute privilege to support Silverlining.
“I’m immensely grateful for the support I’ve received from Silverlining members who’ve joined in with my runs at a safe social distance and by Zoom, and they will hopefully help me cross the finish line.
“With their bucket loads of positivity and endless enthusiasm, giving up has never been an option.”
