A volunteer fire fighter is planning to Brave the Shave for MacMillan on his next birthday.
Richard Hester is planning to wax his chest and legs on March 6, 2022 to fundraise for the charity.
He has raised £65 so far and plans to hit a £1000 fundraising target.
Richard says, "I really like the idea. I think it will be fun and I like to help other people.
"I love fundraising to help cancer research and helping those in need. I want to help people with cancer.
"I am hoping I can reach my target."
He is also planning to take part in a charity chilli challenge in aid of mental health charity Mind.
