SHOPS, hairdressers and beer gardens will be reopening on Monday as restrictions ease.

Boris Johnson’s next step in the road map will see many businesses open their doors for what is hopefully the last lockdown.

But the prime minister did warn people not to be complacent and to get a free NHS test if they develop any symptoms.

The Adver asked its readers what they’re most looking forward to next week as life moves steadily back to normal.

Angela Reid said: “I’m looking forward to taking back the clothes I bought my son for Christmas and getting refunds because they don’t fit.”

Pam Brown said she is looking forward to going to the shops and getting some new shoes.

Ellen Thrush commented: “I’ll be going to visit my hairdresser on Tuesday, April 13.”

Melissa Beaumont added: “I’ll be getting a haircut, my eyebrows done, going to the gym and swimming.”

Philip Musty said: “I’ll be getting a haircut and getting to celebrate my sister and brother-in-law’s wedding.”

And Leslie Wollen van Gazewinkel said: “I’m looking forward to my new adventure as salon manager at OMG Hair and Beauty.”

Others mentioned going out with their children, shopping, seeing the weather warming up and getting closer to June 21.

But most people are just looking forward to getting their lockdown mop chopped off.
