A man is accused of threatening to stab his housemate after accusing him of eating his steak.
Shaun Cunneen, 40, is also said to have used racist language and brandished a blade as he threatened the man with whom he lived in a shared house in Pinehurst on Thursday, April 8.
Appearing before Swindon Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, Cunneen, of Whitworth Road, pleaded not guilty to racially aggravated common assault, racially aggravated assault by beating, common assault and battery.
He was bailed with conditions to live at his mother’s house in Liden, banned from going within a mile of his former home in Whitworth Road or contacting prosecution witnesses.
Magistrates fixed his trial for August 16.
