THE number of new coronavirus cases confirmed in Swindon has reached double digits for the first time in days.
Between 9am on Thursday and 9am on Friday, the borough recorded 10 new positive Covid-19 test results.
There have been 47 cases in the last seven days, which is 20 fewer than the week before - a drop of 29.9 per cent.
Swindon's infection rate as of April 11 is 27.9 - the lowest in months.
Across the UK, 2,596 new coronavirus cases were recorded.
