Police are appealing for witnesses to a two-bike crash in Broad Hinton.

The accident, which happened on the A361 at around 12.30pm on April 17, involved two motorbikes, a Triumph Street and a Suzuki.

One of the riders suffered serious injuries to his leg which required him to go to Southmead Hospital in Bristol.

He had since been released from hospital following surgery.

PC Ben Cox of the Roads Policing Unit said: “We are aware that there were witnesses to this collision, but they had left the scene prior to officers arriving.

“They could have important information pertinent to this case and I’d urge them to please contact us on 101.”
