Police outside Swindon Crown Court this morning
POLICE officers swooped on the crown court after reports of man being slapped in the face.
A man, 23, could be seen being arrested at around midday.
A Wiltshire Police spokesman said: “At around 11.45am we received a report that a man had been assaulted outside Swindon Crown Court.
“The victim had been slapped to the face.
“A 23-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of common assault and is currently in custody at Gablecross police station.”
Two police cars could still be seen outside the crown court at 2pm.
