TOOTHILL: Lee Ockwell, 34, of Corfe Road, was given a 12-month community order with 25 rehabilitation activity requirement days after he admitted breaching a non-molestation order.

He was ordered to pay £625 in costs and a £95 victim surcharge.

ROYAL WOOTTON BASSETT: Timothy Cadby, 41, of Rylands Way, admitted drink driving.

He was caught behind the wheel of a Vauxhall Vivaro on May 18, when tests later found he had 71mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath - nearly twice the legal limit.

He was fined £120, banned from driving for 19 months and ordered to pay £119 in costs and surcharge.

WILTSHIRE: Simon Parker, 36, of the Kennet and Avon Canal, Trowbridge, admitted stealing cheese, meat and perfume from shops in the town.

Three other offences were asked to be taken into consideration when he was sentenced by the magistrates.

He was jailed for 18 weeks for what the court register recorded as a flagrant disregard for court orders.

SWINDON: Michael Sheehan, 26, of no fixed address, admitted being drunk and disorderly and assaulting an emergency worker.

He was sentenced to a six-month community order with an alcohol treatment requirement and ordered to pay £180 in costs and surcharge.

PEATMOOR: Shane Maslen, 33, of Shearwood Road, pleaded guilty to driving a Ford Transit while disqualified and without insurance.

He was caught on Oxford Road on September 7 last year.

He was sentenced to nine weeks suspended for two years and told he must complete 200 hours of unpaid work and pay a £128 victim surcharge.

The bench banned him from driving for 18 months.

WILTSHIRE: Peter Lavery, 73, of Minety, admitted possession of a side shot shotgun and bolt action shotgun without a firearms licence.

He was fined £240 and ordered to pay £119 in costs and surcharge.

TAW HILL: Damion Powell, 27, of Thursday Street, was given a 12-month community order with 100 hours of unpaid work after he admitted sending offensive text messages and damaging a headboard.

He was fined £50, ordered to pay £170 in costs and surcharge.

A restraining order prevents him from contacting his victim for two years.

BECKHAMPTON: Paul Mulhall-Tafe, 51, of Hawthorn Grove, Bath, was found guilty in his absence of riding a Suzuki 1200 Bandit on the A361 near Beckhampton without insurance or licence.

He was fined £970, ordered to pay £110 costs and banned from driving for six months.

PARK SOUTH: Buruk Tesfay, 40, of Kemerton Walk, was fined £691 after he admitted driving a Kia Rio without due care and attention or insurance on Thamesdown Drive.

He was given six points and ordered to pay £179 in costs and surcharge.

PENHILL: Robert Maynard, 40, of Latton Close, was found guilty in his absence of driving an Audi A3 without insurance or a licence last May and a Nissan Micra without a licence or insurance in the same month.

He was banned from driving for six months, fined £1,410 and ordered to pay £110 costs and a £141 victim surcharge.

TOWN CENTRE: Daniel Morrison, 23, of Radnor Street, was found guilty in his absence of speeding on the M4 and A4, and driving without insurance on a separate occasion.

He was banned from driving for 12 months, fined £1,600 and ordered to pay £330 costs and a £160 victim surcharge.

WILTSHIRE: Rufaro Kwaramba, 33, of Chigwell, Essex, was fined £1,070 and banned from driving for six months after he was found guilty in his absence of driving a Vauxhall Corsa on the M4 without insurance or a licence. Magistrates imposed £110 costs and a £107 victim surcharge.
