THE Carers' Cafe is being relaunched by Great Western Hospital’s NHS Foundation Trust.
To mark the National Carers' Week, the hospital will hold its first Carers' Café in person at the hospital since the start of the pandemic.
Carers are invited to the Refresh restaurant tomorrow at 2pm, where staff and volunteers will be offered advice and answers to questions they might have.
It is an effort to highlight the challenges unpaid carers face and recognise the contribution they make to families and communities throughout the country.
A spokeswoman for the hospital said: “This year, carers across the country are continuing to face new challenges as a result of the pandemic and they need to be recognised for the difficulties they are experiencing, respected for all they are doing, and provided with information, support and understanding. The Carers' Café is just one of the ways that the Trust can support carers with their caring responsibilities.”
