A ROAD will be partially closed to traffic as part of the £2.8m improvement works at the Moonrakers Junction.
The westbound lane of Beechcroft Road will be shut on Monday, June 14, with a diversion route being put in place.
Traffic will be diverted down Meadowcroft and then Headlands Grove.
This closure will be in place from the main junction of Cricklade Road up to the entrance for Merton Avenue.
The road will remain open to traffic heading from Cricklade Road on to Beechcroft Road via a one-way system.
The reason for this road closure is to allow for the drainage works and signal ducting to be installed and final surfacing to the new junction to be completed.
The junction will remain closed until the end of July. Foot access will be maintained, allowing residents to access shops on Cricklade Road.
This project aims to increase capacity for traffic using the junction.
