SEVEN weeks of road resurfacing work will close different parts of Thamesdown Drive.
The work begins today (June 21) and will include day-time closures at the Redhouse Way and Torun Way junction, and the eastbound carriageway of the link between Redhouse Way and Eastbury Way.
To minimise disruption for shoppers, work will be carried out during the night at the Haydon Brook Bridge, the Oakhurst Way and Thursday Street junction, and the junction of the Orbital Shopping Park and Eastbury Way.
Access will be maintained for local residents. Diversion routes and signage will be in place during the work. Advance notice boards have been put up in the affected areas.
The works are dependent on the weather. Residents and motorists are advised to check the advanced notification boards for up-to-date information.
