THE latest Met Office forecast expects the heatwave to continue for the next five days before showers cool Swindon down a little.
Temperatures could reach 30 degrees Celsius today with lows of 17C and blazing sunshine expected throughout.
The heat will hover around the high 20s for much of the week, topping out at 29C on Tuesday, 28C on Wednesday and 27C on Thursday or potentially going as low as 17C, 16C and 15C respectively.
UV rays and pollen levels will remain high. The sunshine is here to stay until Friday morning, when cloud cover arrives and temperatures dip slightly to a maximum of 25C.
The weekend will see things cool further, with heavy showers forecast on Saturday and Sunday along with highs of 21C and lows of 14C.
