Nature is full of wonders, and for those of us lucky to live in Wiltshire, it means not having to look too far to spot a beautiful display of colours and heart-warming moments.

Under the scorching sunshine, all sorts of creatures are out enjoying the warm weather.

Captured here by our Swindon and Wiltshire Camera Club member Vijay Patel is a Swallow feeding its babies.

The youngsters are seen screeching for mum’s attention, who shortly after feeds them some treats.

To feed their babies, mother birds will eat the food first and then regurgitate it. This makes it easier for the small birds to swallow.

Swallow birds are known for their beautiful dark blue backs and red throats. They enjoy warm weather, therefore migrating south in winter. But you can spot them here in the UK from March to October.
