A STRANGER sexually assaulted a woman outside a Swindon pub in broad daylight.
A man approached a 21-year-old woman outside the Groves Company Inn pub on Fleet Street at around 12.30pm on Tuesday July 20 and touched her inappropriately.
Police are appealing for information about the incident and urging witnesses to come forward to help with the investigation.
The victim wore a black cardigan with white stripes on the sleeves, black jeans and black and white trainers, with brown hair tied up in a ponytail.
The man suspected of carrying out the assault is described as a white man in his 40s, with a stocky build.
He was wearing a short sleeved white polo shirt which had a collar.
He has light brown hair which is cut short.
Anyone who may have been at the pub that night and saw this man, or who witnessed the two of them at the front of the pub should call police on 101.
