TWO patients with coronavirus have died at Great Western Hospital.
Figures released by the NHS today show one newly-recorded death happened on Friday and another happened on Sunday.
This brings the total amount of patients who died at the hospital within 28 days of testing positive for Covid-19 to 326.
There have been 83 new coronavirus cases confirmed in Swindon, with 753 positive Covid-19 tests recorded in the borough during the last seven days.
This is 351 fewer than the week before - a drop of 31.8 per cent.
Swindon's infection rate as of July 22 is 433.9 cases per 100,000 population.
Around the UK, there have been 23,511 new coronavirus cases and 131 new deaths of patients with the disease recorded.
