A THUG assaulted and racially abused a father and daughter who had been watching the Euros final at a Swindon pub.
The pair were leaving the Woodlands Edge in Peatmoor at around 11pm on July 11 when they noticed a group of young ment fighting in the car park.
The pub's security guards tried to calm things down, as did the father. One of the men involved in the scuffle approached him, used a racially derogatory term and accused him of supporting Italy.
The attacker then pushed the father hard in the chest and punched his daughter and she fell to the floor. The parent believes he was targeted because he was wearing a turban.
The suspect is described as being white, bald and around 5’10” with a big/stocky build. He was wearing a red England shirt with black jeans.
