COMPANIES based at the BizSpace business centre in Cheney Manor Road are hosting an event today in a bid to encourage support from people in the town.
If the open day is successful then the businesses will hold it monthly for the public.
Custom canvas designer Cherry Canvas, Swindon Child Carers, Charlotte Manser Ceramics and Micropigmentation Clinic are among those participating.
Cherry Canvas co-owner Sonia Bradley said: “With Covid, things have been pretty quiet around here so we thought it would be nice to have an open day.
“When people drive past BizSpace you assume it’s just offices - there’s lots of businesses at the back for people to have a look around.
“We’re trying to get our name out so that people know we’re here.
“As bad as the pandemic has been, it’s brought out a lot of new businesses, people enjoying what they do, that’s how we started.”
The open day will run today at 10am-3pm at BSS House, Cheney Manor Road, SN2 2PJ.
