THUNDERSTORMS are expected over Swindon tomorrow afternoon.
Downpours have drenched the town following a sunny weekend and the heavy rain is forecast to continue on and off for the next few days.
The Met Office's latest prediction shows showers for the next few hours, up to midday, then cloudy skies with the occasional glimpse of sunshine for the rest of the day.
Temperatures will range from 11 degrees Celsius to 16C.
Tuesday will begin with light drizzle which intensifies as the day progresses before thunder and lightning strikes at around 3pm. The stormy weather could continue for the rest of the afternoon and into the evening before ceasing at around 9pm.
Temperatures will be between eight and 15C.
Wednesday should be calmer, with clear or partly cloudy skies, no rain expected, and temperatures of eight to 14C.
