An incident involving a motorcyclist in a single-vehicle collision took place on Great Western Way earlier today.
The collision took place at approximately 1.30pm and police and paramedics were in attendance for roughly an hour.
Police say the motorcyclist escaped without injury and didn't even need to go to hospital
A Wiltshire Police spokesman said: “At around 12.45pm today (28/09) we were called to a single-vehicle road traffic collision on Great Western Way, Swindon.
“It involved a motorcyclist and police and paramedics were at the scene. However, the motorcyclist was not injured.
“We are aware of traffic building up so would advise motorists to avoid the area and find alternative routes.”
This incident has caused part of Great Western Way to be blocked, and traffic to slow down significantly near B4289 Kemble Drive (Bruce Street Roundabout)
Delays were said to be roughly over 10 minutes.
