Would you like to help keep people safe from Covid-19 and the 'flu and have a few hours a week to spare?
If so, Swindon Borough Council would like to hear from you.
The council is preparing to ramp up its efforts in giving booster vaccination injections to people who have already had two injections in preparation for, and over, the winter.
It is looking for more volunteers to help out at the vaccination centre at Steam Museum in the centre of town where Covid-19 boosters and also ordinary influenza vaccinations will be carried out.
A spokesman for the council said: "If you would like to act as car park marshal or a patient co-ordinator, and have spare time to volunteer, then we would love to hear from you.
"Please email volunteer@swindon.gov.uk to get involved."
The authority is holding a volunteer information morning between 10an and noon at the Wyvern Theatre foyer on Wednesday October 20 for those who are interested but would like to know more.
