Drivers asked to avoid A420 following serious crash involving lorry and car
THE A420 is shut in both directions after a serious crash involving a lorry and a car near Shrivenham.
Police say the closure is likely to be in force for several hours.
The incident happened at around 7.50am this morning. Traffic is building up in the area.
Drivers have been asked to seek alternative routes to allow emergency services to attend the scene.
A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: "We will provide updates as soon as the road has reopened.
"Thank you for your patience."
