A TEENAGER charged with the murder of Lee Turner has appeared in court.
The 17-year-old, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, was not asked to enter pleas to charges of murder and possession of an offensive weapon.
District Judge Dickens said this case can only be dealt in thecrown court due to the severity of the crimes.
He was remanded in custody and is due to appear before Bristol Crown Court tomorrow.
Victim Lee Turner was stabbed in the chest in a field in the Gorse Hill area on Sunday, October 10.
The 33-year-old died at the scene.
