"Covid-19 is like being at war against an enemy that we cannot see. However, we have fought back and will continue to fight. We have learnt a lot across the past year, we know what works, what does not work and at the heart of it all, the hard work our residents and communities have put in to protect themselves and each other.”
There will also be a presentation of a draft new policy called Get Swindon Active. This is designed to get the people of the borough to take more exercise in order to cut the high rates of obesity and related conditions seen here.
The meeting starts at 2pm at the civic offices in Euclid Street. Members of the public are able to attend.
