A HOT Wheels and retro car model store in Cheney Manor is on the move. 

HWmodels is the brainchild of car enthusiast Mat Green and he has had to move into a bigger unit to cater for rising demand for his nostalgic four-wheeled toys and models. 

“Having traded out of the previous shop since April we realised that we had outgrown the smaller shop and we wanted to have somewhere with its own front door as the previous unit was in main warehouse of Flexspace,” said Matt.

“It’s a lot more welcoming and a lot bigger than the previous store and we have hopefully made it a more friendly place to come and have a look around. 

“I’m really exited to see how our regular customers and our new ones take to the store when they visit. As a collector myself it blows me away when I walk in there in the mornings.”

Since opening in April the unique store has attracted a great reaction from model collectors and families in the town. 

The store is open from Wednesday to Saturday (10am-4pm) and on Sunday (11am-3pm).
