A MAN was left with cuts and bruises after being assaulted in Old Town.
The incident happened at around midnight on Saturday night at Longs Bar in Victoria Road.
The victim, a man in his 30s, was assaulted in the smoking area by a man who hit him across the face and head.
Wiltshire Police has released a CCTV picture of a man they would like to speak to.
The suspect is described as white, around 5ft 10ins tall, with short brown hair. He was wearing a light-coloured t-shirt.
A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: “We appreciate the CCTV isn’t the best quality, but we are hoping that someone who knows the man pictured will recognise him.”
Anyone who recognises the man in the image is asked to call PC Kayne Borresen on 101.
