LEAD thieves targeted at least seven homes in North Swindon in one early-hours crime spree.
On Sunday, the offenders forcibly removed lead from porches on properties along Vaughan Williams Way, Arnold Street and Frankel Avenue in Redhouse.
PC Teresa Herbert said: “We believe at least seven houses have been targeted but there could potentially be others who have not reported the incident to police.
“We have been conducting patrols in the area and have spoken with residents who report being woken up by suspicious noises from around 1.30am onwards on November 22.
“We are keen to hear from anyone who may have CCTV or footage from doorbells which could assist our enquiries.”
