A FIRE damaged part of a Cricklade restaurant.
Firefighters filled the village's High Street while they put out the blaze inside The Ancient Raj at 11.08pm on Monday
Two crews each from Stratton and Cirencester fire stations and one each from Royal Wootton Bassett, Malmesbury, Westlea and Cirencester attended the incident.
A Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "On arrival, firefighters located a fire in a ground floor kitchen which had spread to a single storey flat roof.
"16 breathing apparatus wearers used hose reel jets to tackle the fire as well as a thermal imaging camera to check for hotspots - our stop came at 01.36am.
"A crew from Stratton went to reinspect at just after 9am the next morning."
