Suspected cases of Norovirus have closed a hospital ward after a number of staff and patients displayed vomiting and diarrhoea symptoms.
Great Western Hospital has sent samples for testing and is urging anyone with Norovirus or Covid symptoms to stay away.
A spokesperson said: "We would remind any patients and visitors planning to come to the hospital that you must wear a face mask at all times when in the building, unless you are medically exempt.
"You also must ensure you are regularly washing hands and use the hand gel that is provided at the entrance and exit to every ward and department as in the main Atrium."
