A MEETING will be held on Thursday evening to discuss antisocial behaviour in Moredon.
This comes after neighbours have complained about drug dealing and criminal damage in the area.
North Swindon Central parish councillor Will Stone will chair the discussion at Moredon Community Centre from 7.30pm.
He said: “I've been speaking to people in and heard a lot of complaints about kids in the park, drug use, and bins being set on fire.
"I thought it would be a good idea to get the officials together and give people a chance to speak to them and come up with an action plan.
"We need to look a the root causes of why this is happening."
Representatives from the police will attend the meeting along with the parish youth officer, Moredon councillor Ian Edwards and Coun Jim Grant.
Last November, Coun Grant found a crossbow bolt in Nightingale Rise play park near Moredon Medical Centre while he and a team of volunteers went litter picking.
The discarded arrow was roughly 30cm in length, solid steel, painted purple and described as “weighty with a sharp pointed tip”.
