1965: The scene is Highworth Market Place.
It's the year Yorick the Romano-British skeleton was discovered in a Highworth couple's garden when they went to bury their pet dog. The bones spent years in a box under the bed before being laid to laid to rest in the cemetery.
The town's silver band had just moved into the redundant Wesleyan chapel and Highworth Town FC were enjoying being champions of the Swindon and District League Premier Division for the fourth year in a row.
