Police have raided properties in Swindon and Reading after receiving a tip off regarding drug dealing.
Officers from Wiltshire Constabulary’s Fortitude team conducted search warrants on May 3 at properties simultaneously in the two towns.
Police arrested the individuals following intelligence related to drug supply to class A drug users between Reading and Swindon.
Katie Longmate, 37, of Aldworth Close, Reading, and Chakir Smith, 28, of Beaumont Road, London, have now been charged with being concerned in the supply of cocaine and being concerned in the supply of heroin.
Longmate pleaded guilty at Swindon Magistrates' Court to the offences on May 4 and has been remanded in custody until June 1 for sentencing at Swindon Crown Court.
Smith pleaded not guilty and has been released on bail and is next due to appear at the same court on June 1.
