A JAM-PACKED day of fun and games is in store for the people of Stratton to celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee.
Grange Leisure Centre will have craft stalls, live music, food and drink, inflatables, party games, axe throwing, afternoon tea, and a dog show this Sunday from 12pm to 6pm.
Little Party Heaven will bring adorable donkeys to the outdoor area for free rides, and the Read-A-Lot Spot will have plenty of books to buy along with magic painting and a lucky dip.
Dani’s Doodles will be painting faces and adding henna tattoos, Sweet Treats Bouquets will offer decorative bundles of chocolates and sweets, and Little Grazey will sell curated grazing boxes and cups with salami, cheese, olives, fruits, crackers, and pastries.
Shooting Star Celebrations’ Magic Mirror photobooth will provide royal props to help guests take fun photos.
Drove Vets will host a dog show. Registration starts at noon and the rounds begin at 1pm with puppies, then child handlers, prettiest girl, handsomest boy, golden oldie, pairs, waggiest tail and – last but not least, a royalty-themed jubilee fancy dress class closing the show at 2.45pm.
Each animal companion entered will receive a rosette, and there are prize bags for those who come first, second and third.
