A man was stopped by police in Chippenham last night as his 'drift car' was seen as a danger to the road.
A BMW driver from Royal Wootton Bassett was reported by police in Chippenham last night (May 29) as his 'drift car' was seen as unsafe to drive.
A spokesperson from the Wiltshire Police said: "Officers stopped a BMW 3 series on the A350 in Chippenham at approximately 11.10pm last night due to concerns regarding the condition of the vehicle, which had damage to a wheel arch and wheel tread below the legal limit.
"The driver, a man in his 20s, from Royal Wootton Bassett, was reported due to ‘danger of injury through vehicle condition’ and the vehicle was prohibited from use."

The Wiltshire Police Special Ops said on Twitter: "RPU have prohibited the use of a silver and pink BMW 3 series on the A350 in Chippenham tonight.
"The owner stated it was a "drift car". It still needs to be road legal. Driver reported."
