STRATTON'S celebrations for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee went down well.
The traditional street party-style event at Grange Leisure included afternoon tea, beer tents, food stalls, a dog show, inflatable fun, games, and more.
Teigen Young said on social media: "Lovely day at the Stratton Festival Jubilee Celebration.
"Big shout out to Drove Vets for their entertaining dog competition! Lots of friendly dogs and lucky winners! Well done all.
"Our beautiful American bully who came dressed as Queen Elizabeth II. Oakley managed to win first place in the Jubilee fancy dress."
A few stalls pulled out due to worries about wet weather but the day stayed mostly dry.
Holly Moffatt said: "We had an amazing time. Great for all ages. We are a family group aged between 2 years old and 70. Thank you organisers, great job."
Some raised concerns about the parking on Grange Drive while others were disappointed at the small scale, but it received a mostly positive response.
Diane Gullis added: "Music was good, cakes were good and the general atmosphere was really nice."
Jess Abrahams said: "We had a nice afternoon, wandered around the stalls, enjoyed a hog roast roll, and the guy doing bubbles and balloons was fab!"
