A NIGHT at the opera is the latest of a string of events being held at the Old Town Gardens Bowl.

Opera Sulis, an ensemble of professionally-trained singers who live in and around Bath and the South West, will be performing at the historic venue this month.

This will kick off South Swindon Parish Council's 'Music At The Bowl' series, which will also see Voodoo Room and 21st Century Abba taking to the outdoor stage.

The quartet of operatic singers is set to perform a varied and fun-filled programme of popular and operatic classics "guaranteed to send you home singing."

Swindon Advertiser:

Susan Coates, artistic director of Opera Sulis, said: “Come along to the Town Gardens Bowl on June 25 to listen to our quartet of professional singers perform a programme of popular operatic classics for all the family.

"Music to include excerpts from Carmen, the famous Flower duet from Lakmé, the Pearl Fisher's duet, Nessun Dorma and a selection of Neapolitan classics to send you home singing.”
