Mother Nature brought a double delight to sky watchers in Swindon with a fiery sunset and a stunning rainbow.
The arc appeared on Sunday evening, prompting camera club members to point their lenses skywards, with these beautiful results.
Rainbows happen when sun light hits droplets of water like rain, spray and even fog, at the exact angle of 42 degrees, causing refraction and reflection.
How they appear depends on where the viewer is standing and a double rainbow happens when light is reflected twice in the droplet.
People on the ground can only see an arc but those in aircraft can sometimes see a full circle.
