Man assaulted and BMW damaged after Swindon football match
A man was assaulted and a BMW damaged after Swindon Town's home play-off match with Port Vale.
The victim, in his 20s, was outside the ground when he was attacked, and the car was damaged.
Swindon Police have arrested a 21-year-old man from Swindon on suspicion of assault and criminal damage, but he has been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
Police are now looking for anyone who might have seen the alleged assault take place in May 15 to come forward.
"We are appealing for witnesses to an incident of assault and criminal damage that took place by the County Ground in Swindon," a spokesman said.
"If you have information, please call 101 and quote crime reference number 54220050087."
