Police vans and cars were seen on a residential street in Old Town on Sunday morning.
Police were called to a disorder on Globe Street at 8.45am this morning (26/6) involving five people.
Two police vans and two police cars were spotted on the street that morning.
One woman suffered minor injuries.
A spokesperson from Wiltshire Police said: "A 33-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault. He remains in custody."
The last police car was seen leaving the scene at 1.15pm later that afternoon.
